Trump refused to remain silent after blocking Twitter account
The current US President Donald Trump reacted to the blocking of his personal Twitter account. He wrote about this in the official account of the head of state @POTUS.
Trump said that the social network “will not silence him.” He also shared his plans to create his own platform for communication with his supporters, specifying that negotiations are underway with a number of sites. “I predicted that this would happen. Twitter went further and further in prohibiting freedom of speech, ”he summed up.
A few minutes later, this message was also deleted.
Earlier on January 9, Twitter indefinitely blocked Trump’s account. According to a statement from the social network, the account of the head of state @realDonaldTrump was permanently frozen due to “the risk of further incitement to violence.” The company also noted that in the context of this week’s events on Wednesday, they made it clear that further violations of the rules of the social network could lead to a similar outcome of events.
Trump’s personal account has nearly 89 million Twitter followers.
