MOSCOW, October 11. / TASS /. The specialists processed almost 65 thousand calls to the Moscow hotline on coronavirus in two weeks. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on Sunday on his official page on the VKontakte social network.
«I will introduce you to the people who work on the Moscow coronavirus hotline. I was at the call center on the opening day, September 26, saw how the operators work, and I can say that this is not an easy job. Almost 65 thousand were processed in two weeks. Most often, Muscovites ask to deliver firewood to the dacha, bring home preferential medicines and food, «Sobyanin wrote.
He added that there are professional psychologists in the call center. «Muscovites call with a variety of problems, and his task is to reduce stress levels, to listen to a person. Psychologists also conduct group sessions for hotline operators,» Sobyanin wrote.
Earlier, the mayor of Moscow recommended that the heads of enterprises re-transfer as many employees as possible to a remote mode and ensure strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety measures at workplaces in connection with the situation with coronavirus in the city. He also called on pensioners and people with chronic diseases to self-isolate as much as possible and limit the number of personal contacts.
