Rostec subsidiary does not believe in the disposal of Russian ventilators in the USA
Concern KRET (part of Rostec) commented on the statement of the US authorities that the Russian ventilators sent to the country as humanitarian aid were destroyed. Earlier it became known that the United States refused to use Russian-made devices.
“We believe in reason and are far from thinking that American officials could do this with expensive equipment that is in demand today in many countries of the world amid a pandemic,” KRET told TASS.
The company recalled that there are no official documents on the destruction of Russian-made vehicles. “There are publications in certain media outlets, but they can hardly be perceived as a source of official and trustworthy information,” added KRET.
Earlier today, October 20, BuzzFeed, citing a spokesman for the US Federal Emergency Management Agency, reported that the agency had “gotten rid” of 45 Russian ventilators. As the publication clarified, Aventa-M devices have never been used in American hospitals. The main reason was that they required an electrical voltage that was incompatible with American systems. In addition, according to preliminary data, it was the Aventa-M devices that caused the fires in Russian hospitals.
