“Rospotrebnadzor made comments on three buildings of 24 buildings of the university, the buildings will be closed, complete disinfection of the buildings will be carried out,” the statement says.

On Friday, Rospotrebnadzor plans to hold control events at the university, the press service added.

According to the press service, out of 30 thousand students and university employees with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, there are now 75 people. They also added that the university is taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus: the mandatory wearing of masks, sanitizers are installed, monitoring the thermometry of students and staff, the mode of airing the classrooms in the halls is observed, and mass events are not held.

The press service of the university explained that from October 21 to October 23 in the main educational building, the educational laboratory building and the building of the faculty “Special mechanical engineering” of the university, preventive treatment of buildings with disinfectants will be carried out. During the specified period, classes in educational buildings will not be held.

“The training sessions of the specified period will be redistributed to the following days in order not to violate the integrity of the educational process. Training sessions in other buildings will be conducted in full, ”the university added.

The Ministry of Education and Science told RBC that the department is closely monitoring the sanitary and epidemiological situation in universities.
