Ukraine has prepared new details for the proposed Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Action Plan to resolve the situation in Donbass. This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source close to the negotiations.

As it became known, the new action plan includes a “most detailed” procedure for transferring control over the border before the start of the election campaign to local governments.

“Already at the first stage, the OSCE should ensure maximum control over the border. In parallel, a special subgroup in the TCG will be created to process the procedure for restoring control by Ukraine, ”said the agency’s interlocutor.

A key component of the plan is the demilitarization of territories not controlled by Kiev. We are talking about the withdrawal of mercenaries, heavy weapons, demobilization of combatants. Within the framework of the OSCE mission, it is proposed to create a unit of up to 1,500 people – professional policemen.

The plan provides for the return of property to individuals and legal entities after an international audit of assets.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Leonid Kravchuk, called the 2015 Minsk agreements a “political noose around the neck” of Kiev.
