Supporters of the Thai queen Suthida seek the second exile of King Sininat’s favorite Wongwajirapakdi. This is reported by the South China Morning Post.

In November, hundreds of photos stolen from Sininat’s phones were leaked onto the Internet. Journalist Andrew McGregor Marshall, who covered the life of Thai monarchs for many years, claims that shortly after the release of the favorite from prison, he received a memory card with her pictures, including intimate ones. He attributes the leak to the intrigues of the courtiers, who are unhappy with Sininat’s return. They hoped that the posted photos would ruin her reputation and cause a new scandal.

Sininat visited various provinces in Thailand throughout the fall to raise the profile of King Mahi Wachiralongkorn Rama X. This happened amid months of student protests calling for the reform of the monarchy. In each region, the queen’s rival performed in local national dress. Contrary to the palace tradition, she shook hands with fans and posed with them for photographs.

Observers note that Sininat and Suthida never appear together of their own accord. At the rare events where both women had to be present, they tried not to look at each other. At the same time, none of them posted on Instagram the pictures that the rival got to.

Sininat was appointed Noble Royal Consort in July 2019. After only three months, she found herself in disgrace: she was accused of violating the chain of command and stripped of her title, as well as the rank of major general and all military awards. It was argued that the reason for the disgrace was her court ambitions and conflict with the queen.

After the resignation, the former favorite did not appear in public for a long time. In Thailand, there were rumors that Sininat was killed or died. In fact, she was thrown into Lat Yao Women’s Prison for almost a year. Maha reversed his decision and returned the title to Sininat only in September 2020. After that, she was released and taken to Germany on a private plane, where the monarch and his mistresses waited out the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection.

Maha Wachiralongkorn has been married four times. In 1977, the future king married his cousin, Princess Mom Luang Soamsawali Kitiyakara. Three years later, they broke up, but the divorce was officially formalized only in 1993. By that time, the prince was living with his mistress – actress Yuvadhida Polpraset. In 1994, they registered a marriage, and two years later, the princess fled to the UK.

The prince explained the gap by the fact that his wife was cheating on him with the 60-year-old Air Marshal of Thailand Anand Rotsamkhan. He appointed his dwarf poodle Fu Fu as the new air marshal and found a third wife, a commoner Srirasmi Akharaphongpichu. In May 2014, photos were leaked to the press showing Srirasmi, dressed only in thongs, feeding Fu Fu a birthday cake. A few months later, she lost her title due to allegations of corruption, and the poodle died.

The fourth and final marriage took place in May 2019. The 66-year-old king married 40-year-old Suthida Tijay, a former flight attendant who led his personal security. It was with her that the disgraced Sininat Wongwajirapakdi could not get along.
