Golikova: 75.9% of beds for patients with COVID-19 are occupied in Russia
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that 75.9% of hospital beds for patients with coronavirus COVID-19 are currently occupied in Russia.
“The highest bed capacity utilization – more than 90% – is observed today in four regions: the city of St. Petersburg, the Smolensk and Oryol regions, the city of Sevastopol,” the Deputy Prime Minister said at a briefing at the Government House (quoted by TASS).
In Russia, over the past day, 27 403 people have been infected with the coronavirus. The total number of infected is 2,375,546.
On December 2, Vladimir Putin ordered the start of a large-scale vaccination against coronavirus next week. The first to vaccinate teachers and doctors. In Moscow, you can sign up for a vaccination from December 4. At the moment, two vaccines have been registered in Russia: Sputnik V of the Gamaleya Institute and EpiVacCorona of the Vector Center.
