Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov gave Russians some advice on proper nutrition. He revealed the principles of a healthy diet on Instagram.
The doctor noted that more than half of the calories that a person consumes should be carbohydrates, almost a third – fats, and the rest – proteins. At the same time, he named foods containing whole grains, in particular, cereals, oatmeal, cereals, brown pasta, wild or brown rice, as healthy carbohydrates.
According to the doctor, the main principle of the healthy eating pyramid is moderation without fanaticism. “When the regular food is built correctly, you can afford to eat something harmful from time to time,” said Myasnikov.
He emphasized that sometimes, as an exception, a person who adheres to the principles of healthy eating may eat ice cream, a piece of cake or “juicy steak with potatoes.”
“We felt that you are your own boss, that you enjoyed yourself — and for your health: positive emotions are the same essential element for health,” the specialist explained. Myasnikov explained that after that, the key is to return to the correct diet.
Earlier, Myasnikov named products that accelerate the aging process. The list includes foods with excess sugar, salt and “wrong fats”, as well as overcooked meats and sausages. The doctor also noted that overeating and excess calories accelerate the aging process.
