An explosive device was found in one of the shopping centers in St. Petersburg. On Sunday, December 13, the Telegram-channel “Mash on Moika” writes about this.
According to the channel, a 71-year-old saleswoman noticed the “bomb” in the Akademichesky store – she drew attention to the Dobry juice pack rewound with black duct tape, which was lying in the fitting room.
Subsequently, explosives experts found inside a half-liter bottle with a poisonous green liquid that smelled of fuel, as well as intertwined wires, ignitors, batteries and a watch.
It is noted that video surveillance cameras are not installed on the territory of the shopping center, but fingerprints were found on the packaging. Law enforcement agencies are checking on the fact of the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Attempt to intentionally destroy or damage property”).
In November last year, an unknown person announced plans to drop explosives from a quadrocopter into the parking lot at the Leroy Merlin store in Khimki near Moscow. The specialists who arrived at the scene did not find the drone, the threat was not confirmed. The evacuation of people and personnel from the building was not carried out.
