The nutritionist named the maximum allowed number of tangerines eaten per day
Nutritionist and nutritionist Saniya Islyamova named the maximum number of tangerines that can be eaten during the day. Her words are quoted by “Sputnik Kazakhstan”.
The doctor said that you can eat no more than four citrus fruits per day, and no more than two at one meal. She added that fruit should be eaten within an hour after the main meal.
According to the nutritionist, tangerines should never be eaten on an empty stomach, especially for people who have a predisposition to diabetes. Islyamova also urged allergy sufferers to limit the number of citrus fruits in their diet.
The nutritionist encouraged eating white-veined tangerines, as they contain fiber that will help digest simple carbohydrates. Islyamova advised not to eat alcohol with fruits, including tangerines, since there are too many carbohydrates in this combination of products, and a person may feel bad right at the festive table.
To avoid digestive problems, a nutritionist suggested buying drugs with a choleretic effect, as well as with enzymes that help digest food. However, taking medications, according to Islyamova, must be coordinated with the attending physician.
For those who eat tangerines for the prevention of viral diseases, the nutritionist recommended vitamin C in tablets, since the daily dose of the vitamin is calculated in them.
Earlier, the Russian dietitian Artur Moiseenko named several groups of people who are not recommended to eat tangerines. It is better to abstain from fruit for pregnant women and those suffering from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
