The Okhotny Ryad shopping center was threatened with a fine of RUB 1 million for violating quarantine measures

The Association of Administrative and Technical Inspections (OATI) revealed repeated violations of measures to prevent coronavirus infection in the Okhotny Ryad shopping center (TC) in Moscow, in connection with which he faces a fine of up to 1 million rubles. Yan Popovsky, chief inspector of the association of administrative and technical inspections of the capital, told RIA Novosti about this.

“OATI re-conducted a survey in the Okhotny Ryad shopping center. Despite the violations revealed last week, the shopping center has not taken sufficient measures to organize the social distancing regime and comply with the requirements for the use of personal protective equipment for the respiratory organs and hands, ”explained Popovsky.

The inspector recalled that in accordance with the decree of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, legal entities are obliged to ensure compliance with these requirements by both employees and visitors.

Among other things, the responsible employees of the Okhotny Ryad shopping center were summoned to the inspection to draw up a protocol under Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code (failure to comply with the rules of conduct in an emergency or threat of its occurrence).

Popovsky noted that the fine for the corresponding violations is up to 300 thousand rubles, and if as a result harm is caused to someone’s health, the amount of the fine can be up to 1 million rubles.

RBC asked a representative of the Okhotny Ryad shopping center for a comment.

For the first time, the capital’s operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus reported that the Okhotny Ryad shopping center could be fined or closed for 90 days, until December 16.

As stated in the statement of the headquarters, a fine may threaten for the fact that the shopping center did not properly organize the observance of the social distancing regime.
