A group of unknown persons unreasonably beat a tourist until he lost consciousness
In New Zealand, a group of unknown assailants attacked a tourist for no reason, beat him and left him lying on the ground unconscious. Writes about this Daily Mail.
The incident occurred on Saturday, December 19, at the Wai-o-Tapu geothermal park. A man from Wellington, who wished to remain anonymous, said that about seven to eight people, several men and women, attacked him near the crater lake Rotorua.
“They were holding bottles of alcohol in their hands, they started to swear … I said that my friends and I can leave if they don’t want us to be there, but they did not allow us to leave,” he described what was happening.
Subsequently, the group began to beat the victim and his fellow travelers, the beatings lasted for about 15-20 minutes, as a result of which the traveler lost consciousness. The attackers fled the scene, taking with them all the belongings of the tourists, including a mountain bike and surfboards – the total amount of damage amounted to seven thousand dollars (more than half a million rubles).
Later, doctors discovered that the victim had a fracture of the bones of the facial skeleton. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
On June 10, it was reported that a crowd of passers-by brutally beat a tourist on a street in Barcelona in front of his lover because of the clock. Several men pounced on a random counterman with fists, knocked him to the ground and intended to rip the accessory off his hand. At this time, his girlfriend screamed aside, and the eyewitnesses did not try to help the tourist.
