Bolshunov wins the Tour de Ski pursuit
Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov won the pursuit race at the Tour de Ski stage in Val Mustair, Switzerland. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
The Russian covered the distance of 15 kilometers in 32 minutes 11.1 seconds. The second was another representative of the Russian national team Artem Maltsev (plus 53.7 seconds). The third place was taken by the Frenchman Maurice Manifika (plus 1 minute 7 seconds).
Other Russians Denis Spitsov, Ivan Yakimushkin, Evgeny Belov, Andrey Melnichenko, Ilya Semikov, Alexander Terentyev, Gleb Retivykh, Alexey Chervotkin became the fourth, fifth, 12th, 21st, 24th, 26th, 39th, 48th respectively.
On January 2, Bolshunov won gold in the Tour de Ski mass start. The athlete covered the distance of 15 kilometers in classic style in 34 minutes and 9.8 seconds.
The Tour de Ski is a stage of the World Cup, which will end on March 21.
