Denmark will restrict entry and exit due to coronavirus
Denmark will restrict entry and exit from the country in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Jeppe Kofod, reports Politiken.
As the newspaper writes, now all countries of the world are considered as “red” (with an unfavorable situation for coronavirus), which means that all travel abroad is completely prohibited, including business trips.
“To put it bluntly, if you’re going to leave, don’t do it,” Kofod said at a press conference.
The Danish Foreign Minister noted that now there are very high risks when traveling abroad. If the Danes go abroad anyway, the ministry calls for professional advice on security issues.
The restrictions will be in effect from January 10 to 17. Moreover, the validity period of the certificate of the absence of coronavirus infection will be reduced – the test must be done no more than 24 hours before entering the kingdom.
Earlier, Norway tightened previously introduced measures to combat COVID-19, including a ban on the sale of alcohol in cafes and a restriction on the number of people at private events.
