Solovyov called the blocking of Trump’s account the beginning of a digital war
TV presenter Vladimir Soloviev commented on the decision of the social network Twitter to block the account of US President Donald Trump. He shared his opinion on this in his Telegram channel.
Solovyov also mentioned other blockages in the United States, including the removal of the social network Parler from the Google app store. The TV presenter referred them to “the first digital civil war, not even in the history of the United States, but in history in general.”
“There will soon be a digital GULAG in the USA. To start. And then the supporters of not even Trump, but of conservative values will simply begin to be socially destroyed. Do not hire, block in networks, refuse loans, refuse to study at universities, and so on, ”the journalist said.
Soloviev emphasized that such blockages are contrary to the American Constitution and affect every citizen of the country.
Earlier it became known. that following Google, Apple threatened to remove the social network Parler, which is popular among Trump supporters. A letter to the app’s management indicated that users of the social network used it to coordinate plans to move to Washington on the day of the storming of the Congress building.
The social network Twitter, in turn, indefinitely blocked Trump’s account due to the “risk of further incitement to violence.”
