Doctor Myasnikov with shingles rushes into the Barents Sea
Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov, who fell ill with shingles, rushed into the Barents Sea to swim in freezing temperatures. He announced this on Instagram.
“Just 2.5 hours flight from Moscow. Stunningly beautiful places we have! The coast of the Barents Sea, 170 kilometers from Murmansk, ”the specialist wrote. The doctor also posted a video from the shore, as it enters the sea against the backdrop of snow-capped hills.
According to the host, he “could have succumbed to his Herpes zoster and pain and not go for the weekend,” but decided not to abandon plans to relax in the Barents Sea. “And I would never see it! You should never put off anything! And be lazy and afraid! ” – concluded Myasnikov.
Earlier, the head physician of the Moscow hospital No. 71 said that he had been suffering from shingles for almost a week, which manifests itself in the form of skin rashes with severe pain. The presenter noted that he was worried about breaking pains in the right shoulder blade. Myasnikov also said that there are complications, including blindness.
Myasnikov regularly publishes videos in which he swims in cold water or does physical exercise. The doctor is known to Russian viewers for the program “On the most important thing”, later he began to host his own show about medicine and health on “Russia 1” “Doctor Myasnikov”.
